  First time doing this, I’m aware that payments are billed monthly, however, can you delete your website and stop the payments? or are you locked in once you set up your website? any help is much appreciated

  WordPress.com upgrades are not billed monthly. All WordPress.com upgrades are billed for a full year in advance, with a full refund should you cancel within the first 30 days.

  If you cancel after 30 days, we do not issue a pro-rated refund.
