What you want cannot be done. The image files and media files will reflect the underlying .wordpress.com site URL.

It is furstrating that the site is pointing to my domain and media files are on another site.

@ghionblog the files are stored on other servers to help them load quickly regardless of where your readers are located.
If you’re worried about them seeing .wordpress.com in the file address, have you thought about uploading the PDFs to a service like Cloudup.com instead? Try that, then get the direct link to the PDF, and paste it into your post.
It will embed in your post, and your users will get a download button as well. They won’t have to see the domain it’s coming from.
