PDF link still working after deleting file

  Hi

  I have deleted the PDF I uploaded on wordpress however the link is still working and routes to the PDF

  Can this be permenantly deleted – it is urgent.

  I originally deleted the PDF 4/5 days ago.

  Hi there,

  I’ve removed that file from our cache, so it should no longer be available. You might need to clear your browser cache and saved files before you will see an effect, as your browser might still be able to load the file locally from there.

  Also note that the file might still be cached with search engines, and it might still be possible to find and access it via online searches. We have no control over that, and you’ll need to contact respective search engines directly to have it removed from their systems.
