Pending invite vs site adress change

  Hi there, I’m willing to change my blog address (without reditect). Blog is private (require invites).
  What happen to pending invites in that context ?
  What happen ton someone who accept an ‘old invite’ (from the old address) ? Will it be void or will he be automatically autorized on the new address ?

  Hi there,

  Pending invitations sent out before an address change should still work, but you should also be able to just cancel and resend the invitations if you don’t want to take any chances.

  Thanks for the answer.

  Actually I want to avoid old pending invites to be able to connect to the new address.

  I was able to delete accepted invites but not pending ones.

  So changing address was a workaround to avoid pending invites being able to connect once accepted.

  You should be able to delete pending follower invitations at My Site ->People:

  https://wordpress.com/people/invites/mainsysstaffrepresentation.wordpress.com

  Viewer invitations on a private site are listed there as follower invitations.

  Hi,

  Thanks for the answer.

  Under “People” menu, here’s what I see:
  – In “Followers”: noone
  – In “email followers”: noone
  – In “viewers”: noone
  – In “Invites”: I see list of “pending invites” with only option to resend them.

  I just want to make sure no previously sent “pending invites” would be allowed to gain access to the blog I need to update before granting new access.

  That’s why I see the “change site address” as an opportunity to get rid of old pending invites.

  Hi there,

  If you click on the arrow (>) next to the Resend Invite button a new page will open that’ll give you the option to revoke the invite.
