People cannot reach my blog when they click on my name in the comments

    Hey Everyone,
    So im encountering an issue where if people click my name on the comments they cannot reach my blog. A couple of months ago i change my URL because it was a bit too generic, so when people click on my name they get my old URL and thus my site is not accesible. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Just an update:
    I have made gravatar and people can click on that but you still can’t click on the direct link for my blog. Everyone elses name is in grey and I can click on it , but I cant click on my username only my image.

    Hi there,

    Can you please give a link to a post where you commented where your username is not clickable?

    You do have a website address specified in your profile, and that’s where that link comes from. However, if you only added that recently, your username will only become clickable once you leave your next comment on a site – that info is cached when you comment on a site, and is not adjusted retro-actively when you make changes to your profile.

    Hey thanks for the reply,
    I specified a website adress (the new url) in my gravatar profile in order to make it easier for people to read.
    My issue is however what happens over here:

    If you read my comments, you can click on my image and that will lead to my gravatar profile. But you can’t click on my username, as it will most likely be coloured grey, unlike the others usernames in the comments which are black and are all clickable?

    In other instances when people click on my username, they get redirected onto my old url (and get an error saying link is broken).

    I understand that nothing can be done about retrospective comments. But i changed my URL months ago and I only made these comments a couple of days ago. Please let me know if there is any way in fixing this issue.

    I think it should work now.

    When I click your name I’m sent to the blog you linked here. It should work well going forward.

    If you’ve commented on sites since fixing that address and it’s still showing up wrong, please send a link to those comments and we’ll check them for you. Cheers!
