  why can’t I see how people can follow my blog?
  it appears there is not a way for people to choose to follow my blog?? How do I ensure that this is possible?

  I want people to be able to follow and be notified of when I post something new as opposed to me having to tell them when I do. I don’t necessarily want EVERYONE on my social media reading or knowing about it right now, so I am hoping to just have a select few trusted friends be able to choose to follow it as I let them know it is there.

  There are several different ways for people to follow your blog, which you can read more about here: Following Blogs

  To find out more about your blog’s followers, you can go to your site stats page. Information about your followers is in the box titled “Totals, Followers, and Shares.”

  Your custom domain is currently being used on your site here: http://morethansparrows.org/

  When you go to your site’s dashboard, you will see the permanent address morethanthesparrow.wordpress.com. We use this address behind the scenes to keep track of your blog and its content, but only you see that address. Visitors to your site will only see your custom domain morethansparrows.org.

  I don’t necessarily want EVERYONE on my social media reading or knowing about it right now, so I am hoping to just have a select few trusted friends be able to choose to follow it as I let them know it is there.

  Your blog is currently public, so anyone who visits the site can read your blog posts and follow your blog. If you would like, you can make your blog private so it is only visible to you and followers you invite. You can read more about how to control your blog’s privacy settings here: Privacy Settings
