permalink error

    Hi

    I am new to wordpress and was trying to redirect our current site to a new one. I have changed the permalink and now I can’t login to the site. I have been told to access the htaccess file but I don’t have the domain hosting info or ftp access as the site was set up before I joined the company and no one else here seems to g=have the info. I am really stuck on how to proceed and desperately need to get my site up and running.

    What is the address of the site you need help with? If you’re using the open source WordPress software, please ask at https://wordpress.org/support/ instead, or contact your hosting provider for help, but we cannot help you in this forum which is only for WordPress.com sites.
