Permalink keeps adding a 2 at the end

  Hi, I have tried Googling this issue, but basically there’s a page on my website that keeps adding a 2 to the permalink. When I try to type in the URL without the 2 to see the duplicate page, it just redirects me to the parent page. I’ve tried checking in trash, but my trash is empty. Please advise.

  I do not see any sites under your @therealthinkerblack WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

  Is it possible you created your site under a different login with us or are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

  Hey Jerry, the website I need help with is actually Fishingsensei.com. I think it was registered under another account. Do I need to login to that account instead?
