Permission problems on downgrading WooCommerce to a previous version

The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions…

This is part of the error I get, when I try to downgrade WooCommerce to a previous version with the plugin WP Rollback (since the recent one is not supported by the payment platform I currently use.)

I have also tried to download the previous version, the one I need, and to substitute the recent and installed one by using FileZilla but it did not work either.

What else could I try? I do not know much about coding.

    Thanks for helping!

  • Hi there,

This is the support forum for our free sites, but your Business Yearly Plan upgrade includes priority live chat support that you can access 24 hours a day (except major holidays)

We don’t deal with WooCommerce questions here in this forums (free sites do not have the option to add plugins) but the good news is that expert WooCommerce help is available via live chat, so with this in mind you are encouraged to reach out to us here, and we can take a closer look at your issue in realtime. No need to wait for a reply in the forums:
