personal photo removal

    Greetings,

    I would like to speak with someone about having an image removed from another person’s blog, so as to also remove it from google image results completely. I have spoken with the photographer, a former professor of mine, about the removal of his shot and he had agreed to do so. Unfortunately, he explained that upon trying to delete the image himself, your team was somehow ‘unable’ to complete his request, as there were issues about an e-mail change and password retrieval. The blog owner is Chuck Place and the blog url is: https://chuckplacephotography.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/graduate-portfolios/ — My name is Zak Hankel, and you can find the image about mid-page. I’m not sure who will receive this message, but I am willing to take the risk of exposure to your ‘public forums’ as this is a rather simple request, one that has been agreed upon both by the blog owner and the person within the posted image, and ought to be a rather simple fix.     Hi there,

    If you can have Mr. Place post in this thread to confirm that he has agreed to the deletion of the file, I’d be happy to look into helping him remove it. I just need his official okay since he is the owner of the site.

    Hi Darnelldibbles,

    Thanks! The issue seems to be that Mr. Place is unable to log into his wordpress account (due to the e-mail he registered the account with having been deleted, or something of similar nature) and, as a result, I am not certain that he will be able to use that exact account to post in this thread. I will ask, though!
    However, If he is able to create a new wordpress account (or has another one already), verify that it is indeed his, and then post in this thread as proof of agreement using that account, would that be acceptable as a confirmation of our agreement?

    Thanks Darnell; I inquired with Chuck and he’s still unable to regain access to account. Just FYI, his reply to me read:
    “Zak,
    I can’t even log in to post anything. Infuriating. Could you have Darnell contact me directly? I have been dealing with Kristen at help@wordpress.com but nothing has changed. Sorry for the long delay.”

    So… would you mind contacting him at (email visible only to moderators and staff)? I have all the e-mail conversations between us saved to confirm that at we’ve not only been discussing the removal of the photo for a period now, but also that it’s been more than agreed upon between the two of us that the image is indeed okayed for deletion. I can PM you or e-mail you his phone number as well.
