phone field problem

  I submitted (xxx) xxx-xxxx (removed phone number)

  a red area keeps appearing saying the “phone field” can only contain certain numbers???

  I also tried xxx xxx xxxx (removed phone number)

  This seems the only problem. I cant even get to the page where I pay to register???
