Photo Deletion

  I deleted all of my photo’s to free up space and didn’t realize it deleted them in the posts too and can’t seem to recover them; all 400 of them. Is there someway you can restore it? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

  When you delete a media file from the library, it is permanently deleted. If you don’t have the images on your hard drive, you can try searching your posts in Google’s cache of your posts to recover them. Whether they are there or not depends on how long ago you deleted them.

  In both cases, you’ll need to reupload and reinsert those images to have them appear. One thing you might want to try is the “replace image” option for single images: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#within-posts

  But before you do, you will want to use an image editing program to resize and optimize them so you don’t max out your storage space again.
