Photo in Image Widget shows up in all browsers except Safari
-
The photo in the sidebar appears fine in the Firefox and Chrome browsers on my Mac, but not in Safari (5.1).
I’ve cleared cache/cookies and reloaded. The photo doesn’t show up in Mobile Safari on my iPod either, and a friend has confirmed this. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply.
The name of this site was converted on Aug. 20 to http://simplemeditationraleigh.com/ and that’s the site name that was submitted with my email re this issue.
That’s disappointing to hear that the old site name is still popping up.

You have to go to the account details section in users > personal setting and change the URL there to get the new site to link to your username.
The information you enter when you start a new topic in the forums is not available to us volunteers.
The file linked in the image widget does not exist: http://lindaclairinraleigh.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/linda_clair.jpg . If you put that into the browser address bar you will get a 404 file not found error. I get the same results in Firefox, Safari 5.1, Opera and Chrome.
I think if you clear the browser cache in Firefox and Chrome the image will disappear in those browsers as well.

Yep, clearing the Firefox cache removed the image there as well. Since none of the other images on the site seem to have been effected by the website name change, I guess it didn’t occur to me that the widget link needed to be updated. Thanks for hanging in there with me — you are the best!

You are welcome, and I was a little surprised as well. I would have thought that all links everywhere would have been changed, but apparently not in image widgets.
