Photos aren't showing up

  The photos on some of my older blog posts aren’t showing up. They are just a box with a question mark in them. It is that way for me and my viewers. Anybody know what’s wrong with them?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If the images were there originally they don’t just disappear on their own. Were the images linked to from somewhere else on the Internet or have you perhaps deleted them yourself from the Media Library? Images need to stay in the Media Library to keep them on your site so they are available to display in your posts or pages.

  No, the photos are still on my library on my computer.

  Are they still in the Media Library on your WordPress.com site though? If they are they should be showing up.

  Lucky you caught this in time and can now replace the photos one by one back into your posts. I have seen people who have lost years-worth of work because they emptied their Media Library not realising it would wreck their blogs and had no back-up copies.
