Photos from Media Library broken

    All the images on my website are now broken if they’re from the media library (if I choose a different host – like flickr, the images show up). It also means that all the galleries/slideshows are also broken.

    I don’t have any extra plugins, haven’t changed the theme in over a year, all the images still appear in my media gallery on the dashboard, and if I edit the page the images are there. It’s only on the live website itself that the images don’t appear. I haven’t edited the website for a week prior, and the images were fine then but now they’re showing as broken links.

    I’ve also cleared my browser cache and checked the website on other devices and browsers, and it’s still showing broken images on the website. I’ve also tried deleting and reuploading images, but they are still broken on the website.

    If you take a look in this forum, you would see this is a known issue. WordPress.com engineers are working on a solution
