Photos not appearing in blogs

    Hi there, I’ve been blogging for a few years and have just noticed on my MAC and iPad that some photographs are not appearing despite being in place and saved before being posted. In checking back over the last few years posts this seems to be a problem now. What is the problem and how can it be corrected? Has there been a change in the settings or application? This is most disappointing and frustrating as I’ve so much enjoyed using this forum to share my stories with my family, friends and followers. Please advise.

    Hi,

    The missing images may not have to saved in the media library of your site. From the Insert an Image from the Web section of the Adding Images to Posts or Pages support page:

    This method will not necessarily upload the document/file to your blog’s Media Library. Files from specific sites like Blogger will be uploaded and your image link will be updated. If the file is hosted elsewhere and does not get automatically uploaded to your Media Library, the image will no longer work on your blog if it gets deleted from that site.
