photos on blog – help please

I am trying to remove one of several photos on a blog page on the site.
I don’t understand why when I go to the site page that photo I want to remove is there but when I go the same page in editor, that photo is not there. So how can I remove the photo from my actual site blog page??
Also, I don’t understand why my gallery images are not grouped one next to the other. I have several together then there are blank spaces until the next one – this is on the actual site gallery page. When I go to the same page in editor, the photos are aligned vertically. Still not what I want.
I hope someone can help! I am so frustrated and have been trying to complete setting up this blog for so long but these two issues are in the way!
