PHP 7.4 Stops Sydney tools working, Jetpack can’t communicate

  Last week when I upgrade to PHP 7.4 from 7.3 my contact forms in Sydney no longer function (button not even there to add them when editing) and my Jetpack fails to communicate. I checked the support forums and they seem to be from 2 years ago. I deactivated plugins, reloaded Jetpack, expanded memory in wp_config, tried another wordpress account I have on the same server, ensured all themes, plug ins and wordpress latest versions, etc.. No success – just can’t run things on PHP 7.4. So set it back to 7.3 and OK. Curious why these don’t work after problems reported 2 years ago? I guess I need help to finally get to PHP 7.4 stability.
