Dear Hosting Provider,
I want my website to be as performant and secure as
possible with the latest version of PHP. For the server
my WordPress site is hosted on, I want to ensure that
is the case. If I am not already on the latest version
of PHP, please let me know what steps I need to take
to update.Thanks!

On WordPress.com there’s no need to update PHP as we take care of that for you. I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with us. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
