  So get on my therapist’s website and it says I need to update my php version from 54.45 but I apparently need a 5.6.20 to read it. How do I update it?

  Since what you described wouldn’t be possible on WordPress.com, I guess you’re talking about a WordPress site hosted elsewhere, we are not able to help with those.
