  Hello, I want to start a wordpress blog.
  xxx.com
  And I want to set up a phpbb forum as forum.xxx.com. Is it possible to do this on your system?

  Hi,
  
  Will you be hosting the domain name with WordPress.com? You can set-up the subdomain to point away from WordPress.com, to a different webserver by modifying its DNS records: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/
  
  However, please note that you will not be able to host a different site engine at WordPress.com (only WordPress), so this phpbb forum would need to be installed on a different webserver – anyways, you should still be able to point your subdomain to there using an A record for example:
