Picking the best theme

  Hi All,

  I am trying to build a new startup project in sports data analytics. I need help with installing a free WordPress theme for my managed WordPress subscription.

  The idea is to go for a free, quality theme that will act as a good platform to showcase sports and data science in equal capacity. Data visualization is a must with interactive charts and videos.

  Pls recommend such a theme that is also mobile-friendly.

  Hi Ron,

  All themes found at https://wordpress.com/themes/ are mobile friendly.

  Beyond that we can’t really help you, though – theme choice is a matter of personal preference, and there’s no right or best theme for any particular type of site. The theme controls the overall design of the site, i.e. how the site as a whole looks, but has no effect at all in how your content is displayed.

  If you want charts and videos included in your content, you need to add those via the editor.

  Uploading video to your content requires our Premium Plan (or you can also embed videos from other sites like Youtube or Vimeo on the free plan), and can be done in any theme.

  Working With Video

  Embedding interactive charts would require that you’re on our Business Plan, as interactive elements like that require either iframes or JavaScript to embed, and using those types of code is only possible on our Business Plan.
