Pictorico theme – image slider

  Greetings to all!

  I use Pictorico theme for my blog site (weopentheworld.com).
  I try to setup an image slider there but faced some challenges:
  It states that I need to configure featured content and to do it I should install and activate JetPack. But once I activate JetPack, my site stopps working showing error. It looks like Jetpack and Polylang plugins can’t work together. So I need to find a way how to enable image slider for the site without JetPack plugin. Any alternative solutions maybe.
