Picture doesn't show up when shared

    I am relatively new to WordPress, and when I shared my first post, a thumbnail pic showed up in FB. However, all subsequent posts have shown up with a blank box beside the post. I have tried to follow steps posted on various sites, but most of the articles refer to wordpress.org instead of wordpress.com. I have also tried the FB debugger, and Facebook does not show an og:image, but I’m not sure what I need to do in order to get the image to show up when shared. Any suggestions?
