Plan has expired but i want to restart

    Hi, I used to have an active blog site with my own domain under the WordPress personal plan. I stopped using it and let the plan expire and would now like to start blogging again with WordPress.
    It won’t let me buy a new plan without ‘creating a new site’, but then when I get to telling WordPress that I have an existing domain name, it says it’s already connected to an existing wordpress.com site and the whole process dies. how do I either a. restore my old wordpress site and buy a new plan, or b. de-link my domain from wordpress so that I can start again?

    We just have to get you signed in to the account where that domain was created. Then you’ll be able to continue. Please tell me the domain involved so we can take a look at things.
