Plans and subdomains

  I have a site hosted by Bluehost that includes a subdomain. The subdomain is set up to appear to be a completely different site. I’ve been considering transferring the primary site to a Business level plan with WordPress.com to streamline some things, but from what I can tell, I wouldn’t be able to transfer the subdomain under the Business plan. I think I would have to purchase two separate plans for the two sites. Is that correct?

  Hi there,

  That is correct. Each plan that you purchase is per site, so if you want all the features that come with the Business Plan for both sites, you will need to purchase a Business Plan for each.

  However, maybe a less expensive plan may work for the site the subdomain is assigned to or vice versa. Take a look at our plan options and what each of them provide, and you may see that a different plan may work for your site.
