‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’
-
I’ve never used this plugin, but I get this message when I try to browse the support forum for a theme: https://wordpress.com/theme/singl
I’ve tried to follow the instructions for disconnecting here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/
but I get the same ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’ message when I try to do that. I’ve also tried to change my primary site, but that dialog still tries to link me to the older one.

Can you go to https://jetpack.com/debug and paste your site address there? It will tell you what’s wrong and have you reach out to your host.
Also, Jetpack has support too, if you want to work there directly:

Hi and thanks,
I don’t have Jetpack installed on any of my sites, so the debug page will always show an error. The fault lies on the wordpress.com site, where I cannot browse due to this error popping up.
But the good news is that I was confused, and the support forum I was after is on the wordpress.org site. :)
Anyway, looks like a wordpress.com problem, not jetpack. Am I required to run Jetpack to browse wordpress.com while logged in? I’m not bothered, I found what I needed, but it’s def not a good look for automattic. :)

Jetpack is what connects your self-hosted WordPress.org site to WordPress.com.
So, if you want to manage your site via WordPress.com, like use WordPress.com themes, you will need to use the Jetpack plugin.
