Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection

Hello there, I’m experiencing several difficulties with wordpress that I don’t know how to deal with. The website URL is https://podemospaisesbajos.wordpress.com and is working fine, however, I cannot access the website from my WordPress account like I used to.

First, I tried to access wordpress with my current user name (that is, the name of my blog) and didn’t work as it used to. I had to log in with my email account and it did work but, to my surprise, the blog settings were reset to an older version. So now the only thing I see is the old picture and name. From dashboard I cannot access, make changes or edit the blog because when I click on Mysite the message ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’ appears.

I have verified the jetpack connection as is recommended using the suffix xmlrpc.php, which returned ‘XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.’

Logging in with the suffix wp-login.php does not give me access to the website either.

Any idea what is causing this and how it can be fixed? Any help is appreciated!

That site is connected to another account of yours podemohola. Log out from current podemosamsterdam and log in again as podemohola.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

However I do not understand what you mean…

podemosholanda was the previous name of the blog, which I changed to podemospaisesbajos couple of months ago, September to be exact. I do not recall having a different email account linked to the site.

As I said before, first I tried to log in with current podemospaisesbajos.wordpress.com user name and it said that user didn’t exist. Weird when that’s the user name I used to log in with.

Then I tried with the email account associated to this site and I was able to access the wordpress main dashboard where I saw the user name, picture and some other basic info reset to previous info but I couldn’t access MySite due to the jetpack connection.

So I’m a bit lost because I don’t get what happened or how to solve it.

  • Hi @podemosamsterdam

To clarify, the site podemospaisesbajos.wordpress.com is not under your @podemosamsterdam login, but instead the site is listed under the login of another WordPress.com user with the username @podemohola instead.

Is it possible that you have more than one login with us? Please sign out as @podemosamsterdam and instead sign in as @podemohola and then you will be able to access podemospaisesbajos.wordpress.com

If you do not recall the password to your @podemohola account, you can reset it here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
