please check your primary site’s jetpack connection – no longer own deleted domain

    Hi, I have … sorry.. HAD a domain on wordpress.com. Then I decided to upgrade to a self hosted account and purchased a domain. Ultimately however I grew weary of blogging and deleted both the wordpress.com hosted site AND closed my domain too.

    However now I find myself with the pickle of my jetpack being linked to my domain (which no longer exists) and I can’t see any way to delete it as, every time I click on settings I get the error ‘please check your primary site’s jetpack connection’

    I have looked in the forum and I’m not the first to experience this, but the responses usually say ‘go to your site and remove jetpack’ but I can’t seem to even get that far!

    Can anyone assist? I’m going round in circles here :D
