  I have been trying to move my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and having huge difficulties importing the blog to wordpress.org. I get the message “This WXR file (version 1.2) may not be supported by this version of the importer. Please consider updating.” when I go into the import and then it runs for a while and I get “Oops! This page appears broken. DNS Error – Server cannot be found.” I have tried reinstalling wordpress at my host godaddy, upgrading the importer plugin and everything else I can think of. I tried to purchase a guided transfer but I got a message that you are not accepting any guided transfers right now. I need a solution to this problem but in the interm I need to delete this domain so that it stops forwarding my blog to a setup page on wordpress. Please help me anyway you can!!!!
