please help

i paid a website professional (just starting his business) to create a website for a domain that i have already secured. after hours and hours of written content, the website was complete. now a few months later my website is offline or unpublished and he is nowhere to be found. this is for a nonprofit, and we have lost out on opportunities due to this. my username to sign into WordPress no longer works. please help. what can i do?

theseed2017.wordpress.com is the only site owned by the account you are logged in to — which suggests the one you need help with is owned by another WordPress.com account or not hosted here.
What is the address of the site you are having trouble with? If you let me know, I’ll try and point you in the right direction.

I appreciate your response. my domain name is theseedwithin.org. Now when i try to log into word press it says my username which was cieatsw does not exist. I should have changed the password and taken him off the site but i didnt know any better.
And I am not the only one he has done this to. He did thid to another business owner i know.

Your site theseedwithin.org is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the self-hosted version of WordPress and it is hosted elsewhere. Therefore, you need to contact person that created that your site for further assistance.
