Please help!!

  I am managing a site for a client who’s husband fell ill.
  Anywho… pretty much all I am wanting to do is change the domain of the site that is currently running. I have bought the new domain. I began attempting to do what I believed was the path of changing the domain names so the new domain would have the all the the same pages and information as the original domain. But now, I am locked out of the orignal WordPress account associated with the orginal domain, WordPress is stating there is no account. I didn’t ever change any login info. The site is still active online. I am very confused. I wish there were a 1-800 number to call and have someone please help me out.

  To point you in the direction of further help could you confirm the address of the site you were working on and that the site is hosted here at WordPress.com as there is always the possibility that you may be reaching out to the wrong support forum.
