PLEASE HELP! How do i use my existing email address after changing domain?

  I have recently pointed my domain “www.singlecoil.co.uk” to a wordpress site I had built.

  However – my emails now no longer work!! I have spoken to fasthosts, who I have an email forwarding package with, and they informed me that wordpress need to point my emails to:

  mail server
  smtp-in-114.livemail.co.uk

  So if somebody sends an email to “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”, I need to have it forwarded to “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”- (which is all set up at fast hosts) I have no idea how to do this, and I am desperate to get my emails re-directed to my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) which I have checked it is set up correctly with fast hosts. Where do I add the above mail server information that fast hosts gave me, in order for my emails to work again?

  Hi there,

  I just added an email record (MX record) for your domain, pointing to smtp-in-114.livemail.co.uk. You can view and manage your domain’s Custom DNS records from your My Domains page.

  It may take a few hours for that change to take effect. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

  You’re very welcome! I’m not in sunny mcr, rather in sunny Wales, but if I ever need a repair for my guitar I know where I’ll go! :)
