Please remove domain mapping

Please remove domain mapping on our account. We moved to a self-hosted WordPress install.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

You can cancel any upgrade on your account from the Purchases page, but if you cancel the domain mapping upgrade, the G Suite subscriptions you bought from us will also stop working. You can of course cancel those as well, after which you will receive an email from Google to set up payment directly with them to continue with your subscription, but make sure you add the necessary DNS records at your new hosting provider before doing that.

You can find the Purchases page here:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

If the problem is that the domain is still loading your WordPress.com site after you’ve already changed the name servers, that is not due to the mapping upgrade on your account but is instead because your browser is still re-routing you. If you clear your browser cache your domain should start loading the correct site.

I’m not seeing an option to cancel the domain mapping.

Sorry, didn’t mean to submit that yet. So do I have to cancel my “Premium” plan, to disable domain mapping?

Okay, I’ve cancelled my subscriptions, but… They won’t expire until 2018. Is there no ability for that to cancel ASAP and we can be pro-rated the balance?

  • You only disabled automatic renewal, you did not remove the upgrades. That option is also on the Purchases page.

We don’t offer pro-rated refunds, but if you start a live chat with us we can see what we’re able to do for you:
