WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. However, it is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs.

Also, I would like to know if I can Switch the WordPress.org. If yes, what would be the procedure to do that?

Hi there,
Jetpack is actually a plugin that adds WordPress.com features to self-hosted WordPress sites (using the free software from WordPress.org). All of the Jetpack plugin features are already built in to your site here at WordPress.com. :) If there’s a particular Jetpack feature you’re looking for, just let me know and I’ll help you get it working on your site here.
If you’d like to go ahead and move your WordPress.com site to a self-hosted WordPress site, that’s no problem. We have a guide for doing that here:
