Plug-ins all of a sudden deactivated

  • Unknown's avatar

The other day I logged into my Word Press admin account and my dashboard looks completely different. All of my plug ins are deactivated and when I view my site from my side of things it looks all jumbled. I have no idea what happened. I tried again today and nothing has changed. Can I just reactivate my plug ins? Will it go back to normal? I need to add new products but the WooCommerce tab that is normally on my dashboard is gone. Freaking out a little bit… any help would be great! Thank you.

    Hi there,

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.

The WordPress.org forums are also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
