Plug ins/ selling site/ community

Hello I am hoping to make a site where users can submit items to me as admin to appear on the website. It is sort of multivendor I guess but I need to have ultimate control of what goes on the site. It is a renting items website so those that own the items would post them, I would approve and then users could see the items. What plug in/template do I need for that please? Thanks
