Plugging In OptimizePress
-
I’ve signed up to create a member’s site today.
I’ve bought a domain name – strengthsquadinnercircle.com (forwarded from strengthsquadinnercircle.wordpress.com) – paid to host it on HostGator and uploaded all the zip files I need via cPanel but still don’t see the plugin option to plug in OptimizePress.
It is just case of waiting for the Hosting to change over? or is ther something else I need to do?
Thanks for any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
WordPress.com users won’t find a Plugins tab in the Dashboard

So what do I need to do? As the tutorials videos on OptimizePress seem to show that is possible.

The videos you saw are on WordPress.org.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org the differences

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase here at WordPress.COM that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins. They are for WordPress.ORG software installs. See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

The videos I saw were on optimizehub.com, which doesn’t mention the difference between .org and .com just calls for hosting which I arranged for my .com site
I can now see that was incorrect, thanks for the links.
