plugin charges me permanently for a subscription i didn’t sign up for

    Hi, I signed up for the wordpress plugin, Ultimate Social Media Premium, and paid what I thought would be a one-time charge. Unbeknownst to me, sellcodes.com continues to charge me for that amount every 6 months since my initial charge date of 2020. There is no one I can talk to to cancel this ‘subscription.’ I am wondering if wordpress has any ability to protect its customers from such fraud.

    You’d need to sort any sellcode issues out with them directly. But I did a quick search and noticed that product renews every 180 days when you buy it on their site:

    Plugin authors will sometimes set up renewing charges like that in order to pay for their staff and maintenance costs.
