Plugin needed for online directory

  Hi All! I am trying to setup an online directory that features free and paid membership options. Do you know of any updated directory plugins that work with the new version of WordPress?

  If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

  There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes.

  There is no blogger initiated advertising allowed and that includes paid or sponsored content and ad banners.

  There is a single advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here: http://wordads.co/ But as I said above advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:

  If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

To hire a web host and set up your own wordpress.org install see http://wordpress.org/hosting. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
