Plugin update crashed site and admin
-
Hey,
I just updated the ‘use any font’ plugin and it crashed my whole site + admin. Here’s the error I get if I just try to access my website:
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/bricelec/www/wp-content/plugins/use-any-font/includes/functions/uaf_admin_functions.php on line 115
I can’t log in to my FTP as I don’t have the credentials anymore and when I tried to recover my account, I just didn’t have any ways to prove that it was mine (no transaction ID or key or 2 step log in code).
I’m rather desperate, anybody has a solution?Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).

Hi there!
Since the plugin is causing a fatal error on your site, the first step would be to disable the plugin which you would need to do via FTP if you can’t log in to the site. If you’re unable to access the site via FTP, please contact your hosting service provider for help.
Please note that your site at bricelecorre.com is using the WordPress.org software and is hosted by OVH. We aren’t able to provide direct support for sites using WordPress.org as this forum is for WordPress.com sites. If you aren’t sure about the differences, please check out this page: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
We are happy to point you in the right direction, but note that you may need to contact your hosting service for help or post on the WordPress.org community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
In this case, your site’s files are on the servers of your hosting company, so only they can help you gain access to them. The domain has OVH nameservers so I assume that’s where your site is hosted. Please contact them for help with gaining FTP access (or ask them to remove the plugin
use-any-fontso that your site returns to normal). For further help regarding the site, please post on the WordPress.org community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
Regards.
