  I need to install a plugin via WP plugin installer. It seem, however, that plugin installation isn’t accepted by WP. The vendor of the plugin has designed the plugin specifically for WP sites. Has there been a recent change in policy on plugins or is there still a way to install?

  Hey there,

  You won’t find a plugin tab in the dashboard because plugins are installed and utilized solely for those with self-hosted WordPress.ORG installs:
  http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The good news is that there are plenty of plugins already bundled and configured within the WordPress.COM blog/site. You can find out about bundled WordPress.com plugins here:
