Plugins with Personal plan?

I want to install plugins on my free wordpress.com blog, but I see that I’d have to upgrade my plan to do something like that. Are plugins allowed on the Personal plan? Or are no plugins allowed on WordPress.com no matter what premium plan you have?

Correct. No plugins of your own can be installed whichever plan you have. The most popular plugins are pre-installed on WordPress.com. If you actually share what it is you’re trying to achieve there’s always the possibility that someone could help you with a workaround.

I want to install my Google Analytics ID, but I think WordPress offers that specific feature in the admin interface. Is GA support included in the Personal plan?

As you’ve no doubt discovered, currently you can only have Google Analytics on a WordPress.com site if you upgrade to a Business plan. I guess WordPress.com assume regular bloggers can get sufficient info with the built-in stats they already provide.
