    Hi there,

I believe there may be some confusion between WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress install. WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. Chances are, the feature you are looking for is already there! You can search our support site via this link:

    Home

For any features on WordPress.com, the support page will explain how to set it up.

It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Therefore, it wouldn’t be possible to use WPTouch. It would be best to move to self-hosted WordPress if you this is what you need. This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:

If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

Just a note you can keep your domain registered with us and just point it to your self-hosted site. Let me know if you have any questions with this!
