Podcast meta data help

  Hello there! Okay, I feel so dumb, slow, tired. I have been trying to figure this out on my own for months now. I hope someone can walk me through this in an easy step by step way. When I try to prepare my podcast for the iTunes podcast store, I can never get all of the “meta data” set correctly. I don’t even know completely what “meta data” is. Where, specifically, do I enter this? I’ve read every article I can find out there but none of them make sense to me. Can you please help me? I would be so grateful! Thank you for your time.
