You’ll make that change through your domain registrar, not us.
I believe this is the correct documentation: https://www.godaddy.com/help/manage-dns-records-680

“Can’t get zone because it does not exist: miscents.com”
This is the latest error i got that is appearing in the miscents.com WordPress account.
Here is the background of the problem:
1. I want to use WooCommerce Payments for this website. This seems to first require that I have a WordPress account, and to link miscents.com to WordPress.
2. To connect the miscents.com domain to WordPress.com site, i then went to domain registrar (GoDaddy), to point the nameservers to WordPress. https://intodns.com/miscents.com at that time showed that it’s already propagated.
3. GoDaddy then advised that i need to add the CNAME in the DNS at hosting provider for the www in front of http://www.miscents.com to appear, as well as without
4. I then went to hosting provider to get their IP address. In the WordPress account under Settings, Advanced Setup, i had manually went to update the DNS records. I did this for A record and CNAME record Yet, i got this message “Can’t get zone because it does not exist: miscents.com”
Hosting provider said this is a WordPress issue.
So can you help me to resolve this please?
(i have since reverted back hosting provider nameservers to get the site appearing)

Hi there,
Okay, thanks for the breakdown there. I checked your site and although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is actually using the open-source WordPress.org software. As staff-blorbo was referencing, neither the site nor the domain is hosted with us here, so we are unable to provide any direct assistance to this issue. It sounds like you will need to report the zone error you are receiving to Go Daddy, your domain registrar.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
Thanks!
