pointing a domain

  i bought a domain name I am trying to get my wordpress to point to it, so that when I type in my domain name the wordpress site comes up… does that cost $13??

  Yes, if you purchased a domain at another registrar (such as GoDaddy for example), you will need the Domain Mapping upgrade in order to use that domain with your WordPress.com site. There are instructions here:
