Pointing DNS to another hosting

  Hi guys, I have a blog on wordpress.com. I already bought domain mapping and registration. Now I want to migrate to wordpress.com. I bought an hosting service to siteground.com. They asked me to point my domain’s DNS to their servers. How can I do?

  You can point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

  Thank you :) I red it would be better trasfer the domain to the new host. At the moment, can I just change dns and then trasfer the domain?

  Yes. You can change your nameservers now and transfer later if you wish.
