pointing to a domain

  How do I point my own domain to my wordpress blog? We tried to do this following the directions on the help forum, but it was unsuccessful.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter the domain you wish to use in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.
