‘Popular Posts’ Widget does not apply/ ignores my date range

    The ‘Popular Posts’ Widget, which I have in my ‘Primary Sidebar’ using the theme ‘Sausalito for Genesis’ is showing most popular posts of all time. I want it to show just 30 or 60 days. When I enter this into the ‘Posted in the past X days:’ field on the Widget in the Widget page of my dashboard, it saves but has no change at all on the posts displayed on my site. On my site, there are still posts showing up from years ago.

    Is it because ‘most popular’ is ranked by comments, and my posts rarely receive comments? Thanks for any advice.

    I don’t see that widget on venuescanner.wordpress.com. Are you working on a different site?
